Initiative
for Agricultural Intervention and Developmental Integration (IAIDI) is
a proudly women-led Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) working at the intersection of agricultural
transformation and community resilience in Nigeria. In a country where
smallholder farmers, especially the underserved population, women, and youth
are facing not only absolute poverty but also the escalating impacts of
insecurity, IAIDI is committed to scaling agrifood systems and business
innovations that help communities adapt, recover, and thrive.
We
recognize that insecurity in Nigeria, particularly in the Northeast,
Northcentral, and parts of the Northwest, has disrupted farming cycles,
displaced communities, reduced market access, and deepened food insecurity.
Against this backdrop, farmers need more than seeds and tools; they need
resilient agrifood systems, secure livelihoods, and pathways to move from
subsistence survival to thriving agribusinesses that generate higher incomes,
create jobs, and contribute to national food security.
