What We Do

We Promote
Livelihoods and Resilience

IAIDI empowered communities to achieve sustainable development through livelihood diversification and resilience-building programs. Recognizing that shocks such as climate change, insecurity, and market fluctuations threaten rural survival, IAIDI equips communities with tools and strategies to withstand and recover from crises. These include promoting alternative income-generating activities, linking households to savings and credit groups, businesses, and building entrepreneurial skills. Additionally, IAIDI strengthens local capacities in disaster preparedness and adaptive farming technology to reduce vulnerability.
