What We Do

IAIDI's services focus on Sustainable Agriculture, Nutrition, Value Chain and Inclusive Markets, Livelihoods and Resilience and Capacity Building & Mentorship thematic areas including Protection, Social and Environmental Governance and Gender as cross-cutting components embedded into our interventions. ​​We’ve successfully implemented projects that benefited 4,500+ smallholder farmers and households.

IAIDI's approach to nutrition focuses on promoting nutrition-sensitive agriculture, improving dietary diversity, and enhancing food and nutrition security. Our strategic approach to Nutrition focus is summarized below:























Essentially, our objective of enhancing food and nutrition security is anchored in the belief that agriculture should not only provide income but also improve dietary diversity and community health. Through nutrition-sensitive agriculture. IAIDI integrates nutrition objectives into farming systems by promoting biofortified and nutrient-dense crops, small livestock rearing, and home gardens.
