IAIDI's services focus on Sustainable Agriculture, Nutrition, Value Chain and Inclusive Markets, Livelihoods and Resilience and Capacity Building & Mentorship thematic areas including Protection, Social and Environmental Governance and Gender as cross-cutting components embedded into our interventions. We’ve successfully implemented projects that benefited 4,500+ smallholder farmers and households.
IAIDI is strengthening sustainable agriculture through the promotion of sustainable farming systems that ensure long-term productivity while protecting the environment. By supporting smallholder farmers to adopt climate-smart practices, such as integrated soil fertility management, water harvesting, and regenerative cropping systems, IAIDI directly advances its goal of improving farm productivity and income security. These practices reduce dependency on harmful chemicals, restore degraded lands, and build resilience against erratic weather patterns. The organization also equips farmers with knowledge on sustainable inputs, organic fertilizers, and improved indigenous seed systems, ensuring they are empowered to produce more with fewer risks. In doing so, IAIDI is addressing climate change through adaptation strategies, enabling farmers to improve production and productivity and contribute to profitable agribusinesses that contribute to national food security.
